Vielha is located 14 kilometres from the ski area. The old town of Vielha has been completely renovated. It was once decrepit, but over the years it has been built back up. Now, it is home to many cosy restaurants and bars.

Here, you will find plenty of hotels to choose from. Sol Vielha & Hotel Val d’Aran; both four star quality hotels. Hotel Husa Tuca is located on the outskirts of the village; a convenient location – just 13 kilometres to the Baqueira slopes.

In the old town there are a number of smaller hotels located amongst the narrow streets, surrounded by restaurants and tapas bars. Here, you are right in the centre of the action. Hotels include: Hotel Fonfreda, the Riu Nere, Ribaeta and Hotel Orla

At the far end of the valley, a new aparthotel called Eth Refugi d’Aran has been built. Here you will also find Aparthotel La Vall Blanca. Both offer half board and breakfast only packages. Aparthotel Eth Palai has condos, but meals are not included. This is not usually a problem, as all these aparthotels are within easy walking distance to the old town.
