Arties is located 7 kilometres from the slopes. This is the place to go for top quality food; it is often described as the gourmet centre of Val d’Arán.

The Parador Nacional Don Gaspar de Portola has been completely renovated over the past few years. It is now a four-star country hotel. Many fine Spanish restaurants are located close by.

Casa Irene is an award-winning restaurant. Attached to it, is Hotel Valarties. This has become a popular choice over the years. People staying in the hotel can dine on award winning meals every day of the week.

At the end of the village there is a small hotel called Besiberri. Staff here are friendly and the atmosphere is cosy.
